Is this the end of beer bellies everywhere?
Drinking while still achieving the body of your dreams sounds like an oxymoron, but a UK company has created a protein-packed beer designed to appeal specifically to gym lovers.
It took online supplement shop Muscle Food.com three months to create 'Barbell Brew', a Beer which it claims has much protein as a sirloin steak (21.8g).
At 92.4 calories, the 3.6 per cent beer also contains 33 per cent fewer calories and 85 per cent fewer carbs than your average pint.
Typically, a pint of lager can contain up to 180 calories, roughly the same as a slice of pizza. Drinking five pints of lager a week adds up to over 44,200 extra kilo calories a year, according to the NHS.

According to the company, the high protein beer is set to "give a whole new meaning to the term 'Beer belly' as rock hard abs will be easier than ever to get.
"All natural, this delicious Beer has a tantalisingly light golden colour with notes of tropical fruits and light caramel on the nose.
"The palate is unlike any other beer you’ve tasted before with assertive, resinous hops, biscuit malt flavour and a unique sweetness coming from the protein."
